Sooo I came back from band camp today (w00t!!) to find devart completely revamped!! weirdness..... when did this happen, and how is everyone liking it?

so, yeah, new piccies pretty soon, maybe *is lazy*

maybe not.

So, i absolutely adore my new camera (or, rather, my old camera, since it's like 20 years old.... well, it's new to me anyways!!). The photos I got from it just seem so much more like art than those from my digital. I feel like I have to work harder for my art, and I love black and white film. So yeah, I may be sticking with my new/old camera even after we get the digital fixed.

I got three rolls of film developed today (hence the above blurb) and the photo geek guy behind the counter said i had a good eye. *!!!!!!!* ahhh, he went out of his way to come over and tell me I was a good photgrapher!! And then he gave some pointers!! omgsh, so exciting....

so, I'll be posting some of those "good eye" pictures sometime... sometime....idk when actually. but yeah. good times.

we're going to the zoo this weekend, which means obsessive picture taking for me. my half-sister-in-law (don't ask), Lindsey, is going too, and she's a professional photographer, so she's going to help me out. *so excited*
